Drakth shambled through the town. For some reason he was alone, but he could still hear his masters voice in his head.
Straight ahead, I know I felt his prescence somewhere nearby.
"YES MASTER" Drakth intoned, his voice conveyed by the dark magic that animated his limbs. His skeletal hand dropped to the hilf of his blade and shadows played around his form.
"WHERE ARE YOU MORTAL, MY MASTER THIRSTS FOR YOUR BLOOD"

Alaysius had strolled through the town he was camped outside, enjoying the feel of his freshly repaired armour.
This late at night the town was abandoned, everyone either sleeping or getting drunk in the tavern.
"Perhaps I should grab a crate of ale for the others," Alaysius mused aloud.
"WHERE ARE YOU MORTAL, MY MASTER THIRSTS FOR YOUR BLOOD"
The voice was not at all natural and drawn out. Turning, Alaysius saw a skeleton standing, blade in hand and shadows dancing around it.
"Undead abomination," Alaysius swore, drawing his hammer. A faint blue flame danced across it.
"Come and fight, unless you've no guts," Alaysius taunted.

Ooh, a smart arse human eh, I will enjoy this ones blood
Drakth ran foreward with a swifness that belaid his lack of muscles. The shadow of his robe trailing behind him. His weapon screeched with the pain of the hundreds it had killed. The Wight, as that was what this higher level of skeleton was, brought his weapon up in a slashing motion, aiming to cut the human in half.
"YOU WILL DIE HERE TONIGHT AND JOIN THE SOULS IN MY SWORD"
The weapon was a deep black, no light shone from its surface. As this swept towards Alaysius the tendrils of shadow coiled around his arms and legs, slowing the large man down.

Alaysius recoiled in fear as the screeching blade swung towards him. Stepping back, the blade flew harmlessly in front of him.
Thousands of voices screamed in his mind, demanding to be released, for mercy. It terrified him, he recognized some of them. The shadows tugged at his legs, slowing him down.
The Wight brought his blade down in a overhead swing as Alaysius raised the hilt of his hammer to stop it. The force behind it was surprisingly strong and he nearly buckled under it's force.
The voices.... Those Ulric damned Voices... Alaysius thought his fear. This brought him into a fit of rage. Pushing up, he pushed the Wight backwards. Then, he swung his hammer, aiming for his now unguarded rib cage.

Drakth's master saw the hammer coming.
Hammer, get your shield up you fool.
"YES MASTER" he said aloud.
The shield intercepted the hammer blow, a huge dent appearing in the metal. Pressing his advantage Drakth brought Scabscrath across to cut Alaysius in half through his stomach. The human was obviously afraid. The shadows of his shroud coalescing on his right arm.
"YOU ARE TOO SLOW"
